20/04/2007 Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), on April 18, 2007, released its latest publication entitled, 'Sewage Canal: How to Clean the Yamuna'. CSE also premiered a 32-minute video on the subject, 'Faecal Attraction: Political Economy of Defecation', which explodes various myths about river cleaning. At the release function, Sunita Narain,director CSE, pointed out that money and technology cannot revive the Yamuna, and other approaches would have to be adopted.
