31/05/2006 Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) on May 23, 2006, demanded allocation of at least Tk 25 crore in the budget for 2006-07 for women entrepreneurship development. They also demanded tax holiday facility for up to 10 years for the women entrepreneurs.

31/05/2006 Uusi liikekumppanuusohjelma kehitysmaiden yritysten ja suomalaisten yritysten välillä pyrkii alentamaan suomalaisten yritysten kynnystä investoida kehitysmaihin. Ohjelmaa rahoitetaan vajaalla 5 miljoonalla eurolla kehitysyhteistyövaroista. Sen uskotaan lisäävän kehitysmaiden työpaikkoja ja tuloja, kasvattaen samalla suomalaisyritysten markkinoita.
