31/10/2006 Jos Sinikka Saloa on uskominen, Marilyn oli väärässä. Naisen paras ystävä on nimittäin timanttien sijaan globalisaatio. Salon argumentti on yksioikoinen: naisia kunnioittavaa hyvinvointivaltiota ei voi olla ilman talouskasvua. Kaikki eivät kuitenkaan ole varauksetta samaa mieltä.

24/10/2006 Norjan sosiaalifoorumi järjestettiin Oslossa 19.-22. lokakuuta. Attac oli erittäin näkyvästi mukana tapahtumassa. Läsnä oli runsaasti myös valtiovallan edustajia. Sisällöllisesti foorumin alustuksissa ei globaalien teemojen suhteen tullut esiin mitään uutta ja mullistavaa, mutta Norjan Attacin jäsenet olivat puheenvuoroissaan vakuuttavia.

20/10/2006 O CDI fará parte do Fórum de Globalização Responsável que acontece entre os dias 25 e 28 de outubro em Lyon, na França. O objetivo do evento é criar um espaço para discutir propostas alternativas para lidar com o impacto da globalização, participam mais de dois mil representantes de ONGs, governos, sindicatos, universidades e empresas.
