After a fact-finding mission by the government ration cards have been given to people and ration shops have been opened for them.

Workers at an illegal brick kiln in southern India were recently rescued by ActionAid and sent home following months of captive hard labour at the plant in Mahboobnagar, about 100 kilometres outside Hyderabad.
